The Book Shop offers a wide range of souvenir products which design is based on unique landmarks of culture and book printing in the collections of the National Library of Russia.
Wall and pocket calendars, notebooks and writing pads, bookmarks, postcards and reproductions feature images and details from fine miniatures from Western European medieval manuscripts, amazing maps of the era of great geographical discoveries, entertaining illustrations from scientific treatises of the New Age, vivid characters of Russian popular prints, exquisite pictures from the 19th century fashion magazines.
In the shop, you will find original and useful gifts for everyone who is interested in the history of world culture. Of particular interest are souvenirs with views of St. Petersburg.
In the Book Salon of the National Library of Russia, you can purchase collections of articles and monographs published by the Library. Among them are books dealing with the Library collections, the history of the book, library science as well as various bibliographic universal or thematic, scientific and auxiliary indexes.
You can also buy fiction and local history literature by other publishers.
