As part of the Japan Spring Festival, the National Library of Russia hold an exhibition titled "Japan: The Faces of Time" in its Exhibition Hall from 20 Mach to 8 April. This is an annual cultural event organized by the NLR in collaboration with Consulate General of Japan and the Association of International Cooperation.
The library offered visitors an opportunity to enter into the world of samurai and geishas, sudoku and anime, to understand why Japan is referred to as the "economic miracle", and how the country managed to preserve traditions, incorporating them into our modern days, to become acquainted with the vast literary heritage of the modern Japanese writers.
