We would like to invite you to take part in the work of the 13th All-Russian scientific and practical conference titled "Library collections in the digital era: traditional and electronic resources, acquisition, and use", which will be held in a mixed full-time and distance mode. Library collection acquisition professionals, bibliographers, knowledge employees, other library specialists, publishers, aggregators of electronic resources and company representatives are invited to participate.

  • Amendments related to providing access to information (Federal Law No. 114-FZ, No. 272-FZ, No. 80-FZ, No. 436-FZ, No. 255-FZ of July 14,2022, No. 478-FZ and No. 479-FZ of December 05,2022);
  • Modern knowledge, skills, abilities of a specialist in current library acquisition (in the professional standard "Specialist in library and information activities");
  • Proposed amendments to the Order of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation No. 1077; Accounting Procedure for Documents Included in the Library’s Collections”.

FOCUS SEMINAR “BEST PRACTICES OF FORMING THE MUNICIPAL MODEL LIBRARIES COLLECTIONS”

Project methodological office "Effective formation of collections of municipal and state public libraries in the regions of the Russian Federation, except Moscow and St. Petersburg",
Library Collection Division of the Scientific and Methodological Department of the National Library of Russia.

To participate in the focus seminar “Best practices of forming the municipal model libraries collections” with a certificate, you must register as a conference participant Registration form.

An exhibition of publishing products, information products and library equipment will be held as part of the Conference.

No participation fee is charged to libraries and public institutions representatives.

Participation fee for publishers, aggregators, and company representatives is 1,150 rubles (including VAT of 20%) for each participant from the company.

For registration it is necessary in accordance with the public offer on participation modalities in the Conference and exhibition (see Appendix 1) to fill out Application form for participation in the conference and exhibition, Application form for publishing in the exhibition catalogue, Registration form for each participant from the company (registration form of the participant).

Applications for participation in the exhibition are accepted until March 10, 2023.
Registration for speakers is open until March 10, 2023.
Registration is open until March 14, 2023.

In order to participate in the Conference please fill out a Registration form.

The Conference program will be posted on the Conference website.

The Conference will be webcasted with the possibility of further publishing of presentations, video recordings and meetings transcripts on the Conference website.

Collection of materials resulting from the Conference is planned to prepare in electronic format (presentation, video recordings and the reports texts in PDF format).

Deadline for submission of materials for publication is April 30, 2023.
