The National Library of Russia (NLR) announces an open call for reports for the II International Conference «Library Services on Three Continents». We invite library specialists from Eurasia, South America and Africa to participate.
In 2023, the conference "Library Services on Three Continents" will be held for the second time. The experience of last year's event (the conference was attended by 34 speakers from 21 countries) showed that it is more relevant than ever to have a platform that gives the opportunity to exchange experiences between specialists of these three continents.
This conference is an opportunity to discuss the role of libraries in different countries, their place in the global exchange of information, their impact on the development of science, culture and education, as well as to outline the prospects for cooperation between libraries in different countries.
In 2023, the conference will take place as an online meeting on the Zoom platform with a possibility of inclusion video reports sent in advance in the programme.
Format: online-conference (via Zoom) with inclusion of video reports
Deadline for submitting video reports: 27 October 2023

Receiving the reports – September-October 2023
Preparation of conference programme, translation of video reports, preparing subtitles – October-November 2023
Online-conference – December 4-5, 2023
Publication of conference materials – November-December 2023
Working languages: Russian, English (synchronized translation will be provided)

- Opportunities for further training for library specialists.
