Bookplates by Mstislav Dobuzhinsky are more heavy, they contain such characteristic features as silhouette images and an ornamental frame. A typical example of the labels is his late work, the Ex-Libris for F.Notgaft.

Alexandre Benois developed another new form of a bookplate by his creative works. This is a so-called "presentation", a larger-sized version that is somewhat complicated with narrative elements. Thus, the Ex Libris for A.Somov more resembles a masterly facile illustration of big size, supplemented with text which is essential for a bookplate.

Bookplates by Ivan Bilibin are also devoid of aphoristic features, which are in the nature of this form of graphics. The Ex Libris for F.Notgaft is compared to a picture from a magazine. Like other works by the artist, it is distinguished by the strict graphic design, the symmetric composition, its carefully drawn out script.
