The Author/Title Catalogue of Printed Music is a exact copy of the Library's card catalogue. Catalogue cards have been scanned and can be viewed via the web.

The catalogue consists of some sections. A typical section comprises about 50 cards, each one numbered sequentially. The Catalogue Search identifies the guide card, which is at the beginning of each section. To see the contents of a section, press the guide card.

The catalogue is arranged in Russian alphabetical order by author name or title word.

The catalogue covers materials printed from 1518 to the present day. Catalogue records contain full bibliographic details of the title.

The Catalogue Search is temporarily unavailable. To search the record, use the list of the catalogue boxes. Choose the box where you expect to find the required item, click on it. Then select the guide card that precedes alphabetically the desired item to get to the alphabetical section you need. You can by-pass the section by clicking below on any card number. Cards will be displayed alphabetically by author or title and you can check for the presence of the item.

The Library is working on a conversion of the card catalogue to machine-readable form. The Library continues to add new records to the catalogue. We apologize for the inconvenience.
