The General Author/Title Catalogue of Books in Russian is a exact copy of the Library's card catalogue. Catalogue cards have been scanned and can be viewed via the web.

Enter all or an initial part of the word(s) in the search box. You may search by author's last name, or title of a book/ a periodical / a conferebce etc. Case does not matter. Do not include punctuation.
The Catalogue returns records, matching Your Search, in the form of the List of 20 nearby guide cards.

Please note!
The Catalogue will only find records that are written on  guide cards.

The guide cards devide the catalogue into separate sections for easier search. A typical section comprises about 50 cards, each one numbered sequentially. The Catalogue Search identifies the guide card, which is at the beginning of each section. To see the contents of a section, press the guide card.

The catalogue is arranged in Russian alphabetical order by author name or title word.

The catalogue covers materials printed from 1518 to the present day. Catalogue records contain full bibliographic details of the title.

The Library is working on a conversion of the Library catalogue to machine-readable form. The Library continues to add new records to the catalogue. We apologize for the inconvenience.
