The National Library of Russia values global partnerships and fosters international collaboration at any levels. We welcome international projects and relationships to contribute to our successful development for the public good.
The International Activity Department coordinates international projects, co-hosts joint events with foreign partners, develops international partnerships with libraries, keeps contacts with foreign institutions, oversees the cooperative relations of the National Library of Russia. It also helps to organize international collaboration projects of the library departments, prepares consolidated plans and reports.
The Department members arrange visits of international library and museum professionals, members of cultural centers and other foreign organizations to the National Library of Russia.
International relations of our Library cover a wide range of fields, including participation in the international professional organizations, collaboration projects and international events, etc.
The National Libray of Russia arranges exhibitions from our collection abroad and international exhibitions in our library, creates the opportunity for our specialist to participate in international conferences, forums, book fairs and other events. It enhances international cooperation and international book exchange among libraries.
