In addition to one of the richest collections of sheet music, the holdings of the Printed Music and Recorded Sound Collection also contain audio, video and gramophone recordings.

In the Music Audio and Video Recordings Room, you can listen and viewing music audio & video recordings. The room provides equipment to play CDs, DVDs, videotapes, cassettes and even gramophone records. Items from the Recorded Sound Collection will be delivered to the Music Audio and Video Recordings Room upon request. These doesn't require prior ordering and much delivery time. You only need to fill out a request form for the item, according to the sample.

The reading room is equipped with a digital recording studio. It consists of a MIDI keyboard and a computer with Reason Propellerhead Software 4. The program interface simulates a rack with equipment for creating, editing and recording music.

Reason Virtual Studio

Copying and printing services are provided at the Copy Service Desk. Orders for audio materials you want to copy can be made and issued in the Room for Music Audio & Video Recordings on every Wednesday from 16:00 to 20:00. Copying services are paid.

In the Room, you can consult card catalogues and indexes.
