To view items in reading rooms, readers, generally, have to submit request slips. Materials from the General Russian Books Collection, printed from 1725 to 1956, and items from the European Books stock, acquired before 1940, are requested at the Reader Service Desk in the Lenin Reading Room.
Requested materials are also delivered to readers at the Service Desk in the Lenin Room. Delivery time is 1 hour.
Please note that post-1957 printed items from the Russian Books Collection and materials from European Books stock, acquired after 1941, are delivered at the Reader Service Desks located in the Library's New Building.
