Iosif Rybakov (1880-1938) of Leningrad collected only views of St Petersburg. Among them are a full series of the lithographs Views of St Petersburg and Its Environs published by the Society for the Encouragement of Artists in 1821-26 and a set of views of the city and suburbs by the noted Russian landscape artist Andrei Martynov which were drawn on the stone, printed and tinted by the artist himself in the 1820s. The collection includes images of the suburbs of St Petersburg after drawings by V.A. Zhukovsky, J.A. Charlemagne, watercolor-painted etchings by B. Patersen, lithographs published by A. Plyushar and A. Prevost.
