On June, 23 "Library Telebridge: Russia - Mongolia" took place in the course of which the representatives of the National Library of Russia and the National Library of Mongolia exchanged their professional experience and discussed the prospects of cooperation. Participants of the event: Director General of the National Library of Russia Vladimir Gronskii, Deputy Director General for Library Activities Stanislav Golubtsov, Head of International and Organizational Activities Department Kseniia Morozova, Head of the Asia and Africa Literature Department Sergei Bychko, Leading librarian Valentina Suslova, Leading Specialist-Translator of the Department of International and Organizational Activities Mariia Limaeva, Director of the National Library of Mongolia, Ms. Ichinohorloo, Vice-Director Ms. Bayarlakh, Head of the department of information, methodology and research Mr. Haidav, Librarian for International Book Exchange Ms. Narandulam, Methodologist Mr. Tuvshintogtokh and Foreign Relations Specialist Mr. Nyamdorge. Vladimir Gronskii, Director General of the National Library of Russia, delivered a welcoming speech and outlined the first steps of cooperation: the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation and the opening of the Russian Culture Cabinet at the National Library of Mongolia. Ms. Ichinohorloo, Director of the National Library of Mongolia, also gave a welcoming speech and expressed her hope for a long and fruitful cooperation. The report of the leading librarian V. Suslova was dedicated to the Mongolian collection of the National Library of Russia, which is part of the Asia and Africa Literature Department. During her presentation she talked about the most valuable Mongolian editions kept in the NLR. Ms. Narandulam, Librarian for International Book Exchange, spoke about the long-standing relationship between the National Library of Mongolia and St. Petersburg. This is the second event in a series of professional discussions between specialists of national libraries of different countries, organized by the NLR. Such professional events contribute to the strengthening of international relations and the exchange of experiences. The first Library Telebridge with the Nation's Library of the Presidency took place on May, 17.
